My Sister’s Place is committed to helping homeless women and mothers with children overcome the obstacles that lead to their previously unstable living situations. We provide a loving home and resources to help our residents regain their independence.
Goal setting, budgeting and wellness are hallmarks of our 90-day program. Each resident is challenged to work towards becoming their best self while they are with us.
Although we are a shelter, we strive to be a Christ-centered, loving home first and foremost.
Although we are happy to provide an overview of our program with anyone, the person seeking assistance must contact us directly for help. As space is available, we set up an in-person interview where we will discuss the expectations of our program in-depth, as well as find out more about the potential resident. During this interview, we will also conduct a background check to ensure that there are no violent crimes or crimes against children in a resident’s history.
